This project blends innovation and functionality, creating a harmonious living environment that embraces light, privacy, and sustainability, all while respecting the surrounding landscape.

The tiny home, a compact yet functional 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom dwelling, is tailored for purposeful living. Featuring a pitched roof with low-maintenance claddings, it is both durable and visually appealing. A mezzanine floor above the lounge, complete with a skylight, introduces additional storage and a sense of spaciousness, while attic trusses offer future storage options and readiness for solar panels. Carefully positioned windows ensure privacy and abundant natural light, while the home’s orientation maximizes solar gain.

Adjacent to the tiny home, the existing house is undergoing a thoughtful modernization. The removal of outdated lean-to structures and updates to the rear exterior refresh its character, while new fencing integrates seamlessly with the streetscape. Landscaping plans, designed to meet resource consent requirements, incorporate carefully selected plants and hard surfaces to enhance both properties.

This project blends innovation and functionality, creating a harmonious living environment that embraces light, privacy, and sustainability, all while respecting the surrounding landscape.
