Function & beauty

“The juxtaposition between the harsh textural lines, soft furnishings, and lighting, creates a raw and beautifully organic space.” – EBD design team

Transforming a tired old city centre dairy into a beautiful and functional nail and beauty salon was our brief for this project. Our team designed and project managed this project from concept to completion. It’s definitely one that we are all extremely proud of - it’s beautiful.

We were approached by a new business to help them with both the design and layout and project management of their new nail salon. The brief was simple - make their salon look glamorous.

For us this meant luxurious, high end and bespoke - we wanted to create something that looked aesthetically pleasing and that functioned well for the user.

As part of our design process, we were able to provide 3D renders and elevations of each space. This helped us to communicate our design with our clients. The bold use of soft colours, with the play on textures, helped us to create a huge visual impact in such a small space.

Here at Emma Brown Design, we are constantly pushing design boundaries and ensuring that we tick all of the boxes is important to our team. The bespoke nail tables were designed by the team here at EBD, they are both beautiful and functional - the Dekoton stone tops are acetone friendly which means that our client’s nail technicians don’t have to worry about spillages or marking whilst working.  The flooring and rendered textured walls were the hero pieces in our design and we are so grateful that our clients trusted our vision - the finished spaces exceeded all of our expectations.

Alongside our trusted trades and through our project management services we were able to bring this little beauty to life. If you’re ever in Palmy, pop in to see the team at Glamour, they would love to see you.

The combination of a textural tile and coloured grout created a stunning visual impact.
